We are excited to share our Respect for All (RFA)Week Families Trainings, which outlines a schedule of training opportunities for RFA Week. These trainings are designed to support families in advocating for a more restorative and inclusive community within schools. The sessions will provide practical tools and strategies to enhance school climate and engagement for all.
These trainings are open to anyone seeking to learn ways to support our children. See the attached PDF below.

Project Open Arms "Know Your Rights" learning session
Project Open Arms "Know Your Rights" learning session
Families are invited to join the Project Open Arms "Know Your Rights" learning session. This in-person event will provide an overview of the rights of migrant youth and families who reside in New York City under the relevant bodies of law.
Date & Time: Wednesday, February 12th from 6-8 pm
Location: 330 59th Street, Brooklyn, NY (enter on 60th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenues)

- Senior Awards, Graduation Practice and ticket distribution ( 2 per student, no exceptions )
- Students must report directly to the Student Cafeteria Time to be Advised.

Friday, June 21 2024 - Commencement Ceremony
- Friday, June 21, 2023 at 12:30 pm
- Students must report to Location and Time to be Advised
- The parents will enter through location and time to be advised
- Nobody will be allowed entrance without a printed invitation
- Due to fire safety code, every student will only be issued two invitations, without exception.
- During the ceremony stay quiet and respectful
- Use the Bathroom before the ceremony and drink water before the ceremony
- This is an important event for your families
- If the weather looks like rain, please have your families bring umbrellas
- There is no room for baby carriages and strollers in the rows of seating
- Dark blue dress pants/knee length skirt
- Aviation High School button down shirt, Aviation High School blue ascot
- Professional black belt, black dress socks, polished black shoes
- Ladies: Avoid high thin heels for safety purposes on the steps and stage
- Our students do not wear a cap and gown.
- BOTH THE SHIRT AND THE ASCOT MUST BE PURCHASED FROM THE SO STORE
